Collection: Mary Katrantzou
“Print can be as definitive as a cut or a drape and allows a woman to filter the beauty found in design. Our collections create a symbiosis between the world of digital technology and traditional craftsmanship, opening up a huge spectrum for possibility. I can create possibility out of impossibility, surrealism out of realism and both vice versa.”
Born in Athens, Mary Katrantzou is a visionary force in contemporary fashion. After studying architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, she pivoted to textiles, earning a BA and MA from Central Saint Martins. Her 2008 graduation show, featuring trompe l’oeil prints, captivated the fashion elite, launching her eponymous label into the global spotlight. Dubbed “The Queen of Print,” Katrantzou’s mastery of digital innovation and opulent embellishments redefined modern luxury. Worn by icons like Beyoncé and Michelle Obama, her bold, artistic designs blend surrealism with craftsmanship, reshaping the boundaries of high fashion for the 21st century.
